About The Author

Christine Quarnström, a Chicago native, likes to say she wrote Good-bye in the January snow and headed for Los Angeles. That was when she transferred from Purdue University to USC where she earned her teaching degree, settled down to raise a family of five, and then teach middle school for almost twenty years. Chris sings in a Whittier-based master chorale, Chorale Bel Canto. Retired now, she lives in La Habra, California, with her second husband, journalist/writer, Lee Quarnström, and their adored Welsh corgi, Rose.
