Woof!

Award-winning children’s book author Ethlie Ann Vare enlists the power of Artificial Intelligence to tell the very human story of a lone wolf girl who rescues a “death row doggie” from the pound – a dog who may very literally be a lone wolf. The stunning images for WOOF! were trained to emulate the bold palette-knife oil paintings of Ben Herman, the author’s late father.

“A beautiful book. Ethlie Van Vare’s WOOF! captures that rare relationship where we allow others to be themselves and find ourselves in the process. There is something deeply personal at work here, bringing us into Laszlo’s world with a simplicity and economy that speaks volumes.” – Brad Koepenick, California Charter Teacher of the Year

A portion of the proceeds of this book will be donated to Los Angeles Animal Services.
